Great place! Had my Birthday breakfast there a week before Christmas before heading home to Melbourne and it was great. Had the 3 egg omelette which was delicious and so big I couldn't finish it! The meals arrived quickly (and they were pretty busy for 8.30am) and the service was also great. Easy access from the car park too.
Ok, hands down this is the only place in Canberra that does the best chips with the best seasoning and the type of chips where you can take it home and be able to re-heat the next day and still be able to enjoy them! 5-stars! Great atmosphere!
A long-time favourite of our family. Not many cafes/bistros come with their own kids playground, and this one has a child-proof gate, so the adults can get some respite. The goldfish and koi in the pond are looking well-fed. Easy parking, friendly service, and consistently great food. The chefs here seem to really care about their work.
Fantastic food, and great service! Very family friendly. The playground in the corner outside is great, and heaps of space around tables, so very pram friendly. I've been getting thickshakes and wedges here since I was a kid and have never once been disappointed.
Nice menu and good choice of interesting dishes. Great efficient friendly service. The indoor areas could do with some ceiling or floor treatment to reduce noise.
Always good for a casual, family friendly place to eat. Generous size meals and drinks. Always appreciate the friendly staff. Mini play area for young kids and they love watching the fish in the pond (fenced so no chance to fall in).
Always the go to place when in Gold Creek.
Can have a slight delay sometimes with the food (but only if it's busy) but at the end of the day its delicious, the servings are reasonably priced and huge and it's a nice atmosphere sitting either inside or outside. The all day breakfast with a coffee for currently only $12.50 is amazing value!
Not sure why they completely re-did the outdoor front area and removed all the lovely green foliage. The fish in the pond are gorgeous though.
